Milk tea is a drink I never thought I’d love. I tried one a few years back, introduced by a fast food restaurant and my firs tattempt…failed, I didn’t like the taste. Now, milk tea shops are in every corner so again I tried one and another and every time there’s a new outlet, I indulge. In short, I begin to fall in love with milk tea, any brand just as long as it’s the plain milk tea or with pearls, that would make my comfort drink. The thing is even though I love it, I can’t just go splurging on milk teas every so often, yes it is a bit pricey, it can’t be an everyday drink for me or as my budget says.

So here’s a product introduced in the market ChaLife Milk Tea powdered drink mix. In the box it says “Free yourself from everyday stress with ChaLife Milk Tea. Take time to sit down, relax and be refreshed with its smooth and aromatic blend of milk tea flavors. Whether you enjoy it hot with a good book at home or drink it cold during break time. ChaLife Milk Tea will surely comfort your mind and body.” This product was introduced to us in an event that took place at Nail It Spa at the Rockwell Business Center Building.Yes a relaxing afternoon with ChaLife Milk Tea. Prepare it hot to relax and cold to refresh, indeed for someone like me who already tried several milk teas, I think this one could be my comfort Milk tea at home less the pearls and I want it cold. ChaLife can be enjoyed at home or can be easily taken with you                                                                                         wherever you go since it is packed in a single-served, stick-type sachet.

ChaLife Milk Tea is now available in super markets andconvenient stores.

Knorr welcomes their new celebrity endorser Chef Marvin Agustin. I was excited for this event since I haven't seen Marvin for so long, remembering those days of their Marvin-Jolina tandem, I enjoyed their movies and theme songs and also some dialogues especially the one where they were best friends and Jolina was in love with him. I thought their love team would go through the highest level meaning like marriage since they act naturally and really had chemistry, oh well it didn't happen.

As Knorr announces their newest celebrity endorser I am happy for Marvin, he has been in and out of projects from the showbiz industry, I actually thought he's just no where but I was wrong. Marvin with business partners and friends already has like 8 restaurants and counting, wow! maybe that's why he wasn't as active as before because he found his true love, cooking.

Managing these restaurants surely keeps him busy so we ask how he divides his time from work and being with his twins, Marvin says, for now, since the mother of the kids is out of country, he gets up like 5:30 a.m.to prepare them for school, he personally brings them to school and then comes back home and prepare for his whole day activity, he is now also into Golf where he finds it a good bonding time with the kids. Asked if he sees the twins interested in cooking, his eyes light up and says, "yes", every time he cooks at home the kids would be with him watching him or helping in the food preparation. He even shared that sometimes when they go to other restaurants the twins would ask if they own the place, cute! So now together with Knorr for sure another successful partnership with now the Chef Marvin. And oh all the food prepared on this event was cooked by Chef Marvin himself and I must say I was full. Cheers to Knorr and Chef Marvin.

Press Release:

Industry leader Knorr and its endorser Chef Marvin Agustin continue to be sources of inspiration to Filipino families, especially the moms. With this partnership of two of the  respected names in the food industry, expect only a continuous enriching of the Filipino family’s dining experience via a host of new projects, products, and recipes.

According to Marvin Agustin, recently named Young Entrepreneur of the Year, the values - Passion,Innovation, and the heart for good food – are the things that bind him and Knorr.
“It’s nice to promote something that you've been already using for a long time, inspired by the teachings of my mom, cooked and served well from the heart,” explains Chef Marvin. “Good food brings good friends and family together, so having Knorr by your side, is already an assurance that you have an ally in the kitchen, which I consider the heart of every home.”
Chef Marvin considers his mom Maria Teresa as his inspiration in everything he does, including being a chef. In fact, his soon-to-be-opened and first Filipino family restaurant Maria Teresa is a loving tribute to his mom.

“The kitchen has bonded me and my mom in unexpected ways, and I am thankful that Knorr has given me this chance to share a part of myself to every mother in the country,” says the accomplished restaurateur-chef-actor.“Together with Knorr, we will provide modern-day Filipino families with dishes that respond to their needs, while making their cooking experience fulfilling, pleasurable and enriching.”

Being a part of the Knorr family, Marvin will create dishes that highlight how Knorr products (Sinigang Sa Sampaloc Original Mix, Knorr Cubes, and Ginataang Gulay Mix) can help Filipino mothers create the best dishes fortheir families

15 Star Magic Artists – One Big Movie – 7 Different Stories- Star Magic 20th Anniversary. What’s going on? The biggest movie of the year, imagine the little cuties Xyriel Manabatand Zaijian Jaranilla, the handsome men Piolo Pascual, Sam Milby and DietherOcampo, the dance princess Maja Salvador, the sexy-funny Pokwang, and yourfavorite love teams Zanjoe Marudo and Bea Alonzo, John Lloyd Cruz and AngelicaPanganiban, Daniel Padilla and Kathryn Bernardo (Kathniel) and the most awaitedcomeback team up of Gerald Anderson and Kim Chiu (Kimerald) all the biggeststars rolled into one, now tell me is this a great deal or what?

For sure movie goers will again be treated into a feel goodmovie about love, 7 different stories that each one of us could possibly relateto, but if not at least something we could share. I just know this movie willbe a hit since most if not all of the stars have their own followings already, plus the fact that this is a comeback movie of one of the countries favoritelove team the Kimerald (Kim and Gerald) supported by the booming tandem ofKathniel (Daniel and Kathryn). I remembered during the press conference held atthe Dolphy theater, while Kathryn was answering a certain question she’s notsure of how to answer, Gerald made a comment “parang si Kim 2 years ago” thatmade me think ah this Kathniel team is growing fast and conquering the fans. Onthe other hand this is a first for real life partners Zanjoe and Bea; Z actingas gay must be hilarious. also a first for the recently announced couple JohnLloyd and Angelica, so we shall see how it goes. I am extremely excited for Samand “mamang” Pokwang, during the bloggers conference for this movie, Pokwangsaid we should stand by for the love scene that they did and that it’s herfirst time to do a sensual kissing thing in a movie. Piolo and Diether wehaven’t seen in a movie for a while too, but this time Papa P is playing a roleof a person with special needs, joining him in the story is the cute kids Xyrieland Zaijian. And for Diether, the boss of the beautiful and sexy secretary,Maja, in a funny way admits they both had to adjust because of their“generation gap”.

So those are just a few of what I can say about this moviesince I am also waiting for it but great news November  21st  is fast approaching, so get ready and let’sall feel and give some love for this movie.

Coca-Cola has been one of the brands I am loyal to but nottoo loyal and fanatic as my husband. He collects coke bottles, glasses and evencoke-in-cans, he recognizes when a can had a new design even if there arechanges on the shade of red that were used, imagine that? And anything new forsure it goes in the grocery cart even if it’s not on our list of “things to buy”.  Oh well through the years we've been together I got the hang of it and sometimes, made me also check it out, and asthe saying goes “if you can’t beat ‘em, join them!”

So imagine him getting jealous that I was invited by ablogger friend, Flow. It’s the Coca-Cola Giant Christmas Tree Lighting Event and“Coke 100 Pasko”, held at the parking lot of the Smart Araneta Coliseum.  I used to watch this Giant Christmas TreeLighting on television and thought that this Christmas tree was just ordinary,so why was it called giant? That day answered my question; it was indeed aGiant Christmas Tree.

The afternoon was filled with activities, we went in the Coca-Colabus, super fun, had meryenda-dinner the Filipino way; pansit, puto, fruits, bibingka and lechon hmm did I miss anything? Of course the food wouldn't beperfect without Coca-Cola! Cheers! Have you watched one of the YouTube video ofCoke? This is the one with the happiness truck, and you have to push the bigPUSH button then it gives out free drinks and surprising items and food? Yes! Iget to try that too, the line was long but it was so worth it, when it was myturn to push the big PUSH button ha-ha, I pushed it real hard, “feel na feel”and tada! I had a big box full of Coca-Cola cupcakes, plus a 2.5L of Coca-Coladrink. And yes I had a difficult time carrying it around to get our othertreats like cotton candy and ice cream but it was still fun and we managed togather some chairs so we can enjoy our snacks while waiting for the main event.

A number of artists from different networks and beauty pageants title holders were also thereto join in the Lighting of the Giant Christmas Tree. There were alsoperformances for the fans, guests and media people. When the  announcement was made, I hurriedly went inthe crowd and positioned myself to take a few photos, sadly I wasn't able tobring my camera so I had to depend on my iPod Touch, but never the less I wasable to make a few good shots. The lights were turned on and yehey! MerryChristmas everyone, I was feeling that moment, the red and white confettisticking to my face and my hair but I didn't care, for a few seconds I closedmy eyes and just shut out everything that’s happening, and when I came back wowit felt good.

The evening was so spectacular, yes I was tired but because I was with good company of good friends MJ, JL, Flow, Richard, Mommy Myrns, and Ning it was all worth it, Coca-Cola you are the Best! Congratulations Coke 100 Pasko!

TV Patrol launches its new segment CCTV Patrol with no other than Kabayan himself Mr. Noli de Castro. The program tackles videos sent by televiewers who have witnessed and captured crimes on video and was sent to ireport@abs-cbn.com

This would be a big help in resolving crimes since faces could be recognized and the actual scene of the crime are captured, in line with this TV Patrol will help in the investigation and will make sure to give follow through on the videos sent to them. CCTV Patrol also promises to to review videos and investigate first before they have it aired on TV Patrol.

Most people nowadays have videos on their mobile phones, everything can be captured and we can just hope that it will be put into good use.

A few weeks ago while watching my regular line up of tele-novelas, a tvc (television commercial) caught my attention, a mom trying to squeeze everything for the coming Christmas eve, getting up early and sleeping very late, went shopping for gifts, braved the busy market and taking care of her little boy. On Christmas eve while everyone  in the family were busy enjoying everything the mom prepared the little boy took a portion of pasta and served it to her mom, for a while the mom paused and felt deeply touched by what her son did, and there I was teary eyed and felt the mom's happiness.

A week after, I was invited by Mommy Jo to Kraft Eden's event "Sarap ng Pasko, dahil sa iyo Ma". We were early at the event place so we get to hang around for a while, as we were waiting, the set up crew were  doing some rounds of tests for the presentation, and there I saw it once more the tvc, I immediately told Mommy Jo and she got a glimpse of it and there she was also in tears and was touched by the tvc. From then on I know the event was really something I would really love. At the end of the day I also want to be a mom who can make every Christmas special for my future kids, thanks Eden for giving us tips on making Christmas decorations and gift wrapping, looking forward to many more years with you.

Bloggers were also invited to experience the Ystilo Get Ystylized Makeover, most of us had their hair colored, trimmed and styled fashionably, and I had a treatment for my hair and finished it up with a beautiful blow dry. It was indeed a fun event since we get to meet the winners and got a glimpse of Ms. Vina Morales’s pretty girl Ciana, unfortunately Ms. Vina wasn't available to join us that day but none the less she made sure we were treated well.

Press Release:

THREE of today’s hottest and busiest stars – Anne Curtis, Derek Ramsay and Andi Eigenmann – figure in a sizzling, dramatic tale of love, lust and deceit in Viva Films’ upcoming release, “A Secret Affair”. The movie, showing on October 24, is the highly anticipated follow-up to last year's blockbuster "No Other Woman", which still stands as the highest grossing Filipino dramatic movie of all time.

That film established the tandem of Anne and Derek as a bankable movie pair. "A Secret Affair" reunites the two stars, but this time as the couple whose relationship is seriously challenged with the intrusion of a third party, played by Andi.

The movie has all the elements that made “No Other Woman” such a phenomenon---a great-looking cast, an engaging story, memorable dialogue peppered with quotable quotes, beautiful locations, and the trademark gloss of classic VIVA melodramas. But it's even sexier and more stylish, with more lavish sets and eye-popping production values. It's also bigger in scope as it touches on family and friendship.

Both Anne and Andi play strong, feisty characters but with different sensibilities molded by their family backgrounds and situations. The movie is also even more contemporary, as it shows how relationships are shaped by new media these days.

"A Secret Affair" promises to cement Anne's reputation as one of the very best actresses of the new generation, as well as Derek's image as today's top sexy actor. The movie also heralds the arrival of Andi as a new movie drama princess.

Directed by teleserye veteran Nuel Crisostomo Naval from a story and screenplay by award-winning writer Mel Mendoza-del Rosario, “A Secret Affair” boasts a formidable supporting cast led by acclaimed veterans Jaclyn Jose, Joel Torre, and Jackie Lou Blanco. It also features Say Alonzo, IC Mendoza, Shy Carlos, Petra Mahalimuyak, and Ge-Ann Abraham.

For more updates and a sneak peek at the film’s trailer, visit VIVA Films’ website: http://www.viva.com.ph/

Unilever together with Unicef, Department of Education (DepEd) and Department of Social Welfare and Employment (DSWD) launched the Global Handwashing Day.

This project aims to teach kids all over the country on proper hand washing since most bacteria that causes sickness are usually because of dirty hands. Imagine, just for teaching a kid to wash their hands properly can save a life, and if this will be done as a habit we could actually save millions of kids all over the country.

Unilever has their product Vaseline liquid soap with anti bacterial formula to help us out in this advocacy and because we aim to teach kids, they got Jillian Ward, the 7 year old cute girl to be a good example for the children.

This project will not only be for the National Capital Region, they aim to cover the country especially those in the provinces, Vaseline will also be distributed at these areas so they can truly practice clean hands all the time.

So join the "Pledge Hands to Save Lives" campaign from Vaseline and Unilever. A simple washing of hands would help save a life.

One of the most much awaited teleserye ended it's pilot week tonight. Although I was one of those who were given the opportunity to watch the advance screening, I still made sure to catch it on tv, and now, everyone is excited for what will happen next week since the scenes will then include the main casts of the teleserye.

Ina Kapatid Anak yet again showcases a great and refreshing story that involves the relationships of family, from being grandparents, parents, siblings and children. People will once again have a very good reason to come home early and bond with their families while watching this teleserye.

Ina Kapatid Anak

One of the most much awaited teleserye ended it's pilot week tonight. Although I was one of those who were given the opportunity to watch the advance screening, I still made sure to catch it on tv, and now, everyone is excited for what will happen next week since the scenes will then include the main casts of the teleserye.

Ina Kapatid Anak yet again showcases a great and refreshing story that involves the relationships of family, from being grandparents, parents, siblings and children. People will once again have a very good reason to come home early and bond with their families while watching this teleserye.

Since I am not sleepy yet, and my energy is still on a high from the recently concluded X-Factor Grand Finals Night, allow me to share how the night went during this Big event.

The X-Factor Philippines Grand Finals Night was a blast. The show opened with Ms. Lanie Misalucha singing with the grand finalists Daddy's Home, Gab Maturan and KZ Tandingan, Ms. Lanie is back and for sure we'll get to see her more often in the next few days, hmm i hope she'll have a mini concert where we can get to be invited because i super adore her singing prowess.

First in line for their final performance is from Mr. Gary Valenciano's team, Daddy's Home singing an inspirational song entitled "Gaya ng Dati" this was their personal pick since they haven't sung anything like this before and surely it was the perfect one for them. I got goosebumps all over while listening and feeling their rendetion. Good job Daddy's Home. Vote for them XF DAD

Next up is from Mr. Martin Nieveras team. Gab Maturan, the young man who, Judge Pelita describes as the dark horse of the competition. Gab has never been included in the bottom two and has constantly been questioned if he deserves to be on the top 3. Well tonight, he stole the stage, the show and the hearts of the people. Gab performed "I Believe" and instantly people believed in him. To Vote XF GAB

Last but not the least is KZ Tandingan the only lady left standing. Her voice conquered everyone with the song "Superstar" Indeed, her voice is one of a kind and honestly her height, makes me want to question where is her voice coming from? To Vote XF KZ

Ms. Vina Morales was one of the special guests for the night and may I just say, from her production number, it seems she hasn't aged a bit and she is still the Vina Morales in terms of her energy and performance level. Way to go! Super Hot!

And when everyone thought that the night is over, just wait, there's more. Daddy's Home performed "Through the Fire" with no less than the Soul Siren Nina. Superb! Then KZ's time with the legend Mr. Rico J Puno singing "Memories" it was oh so heart warming. Finally Gab with oh my gosh! Bamboo, they had ladies screaming their hearts out with "Man that can't be moved" It was certainly one Big Finale for the X-Factor Philippines.

Tonight your votes will decide who will be The First X-Factor Philippines Champion

Update:

The announcement:

Third Place goes to:
Daddy's Home

Second Place:
Gab Maturan

and the first X-Factor Philippines Grand Champion is no other than...

KZ TANDINGAN

Congratulations to everyone! X-Factor Philipines Staff and Crew Kudos to you all!

Watch out for the X-Factor Xtended special on Saturday October 13, 2012 for some inside stories of your fave finalists.

Was it 25 years ago that we watched in awe and purely loved this adorable cute little girl doing her famous duck dance in Eat Bulaga? The answer is of course yes it was really her, how time flies so fast that now she's all grown up, doing her own thing, singing her heart out and having this big concert at the Smart Araneta in celebration of her 25 years in the industry.

Yes the baby is now all grown up and her staying power is so strong that she had the Araneta jampacked up until the general admission seats. Aiza Seguerra's Bente Singko concert was a huge success. It was one concert people didn't want to miss since Aiza is the youngest to celebrate this achievement in the showbiz industry.

For her, it was a moment she wants to share with her family, friends and fans. Imagine the whole of Araneta singing to every song she rendered and was also excited for her special guests for the night. Famous personalities in the industry were there to greet and support our dear Aiza. To name a few we have: The Company, they did a few 80's dance hits, Gary Valenciano and Martin Nievera did a back to back number, Gloc-9 did his rap stint, and of course Bossing Vic Sotto had a heart warming number with Aiza that brought tears to almost everyone watching.

Pictures of Aiza were also flashed by the LED screen making the audience reminisce her life in the showbiz world, she also did a song of Ms. Sharon Cuneta who is apparently watching the concert and was asked by production if she could join Aiza up on the stage and she immediately agreed, that moment made the whole Smart Araneta scream for that unforgettable scene. It was a great night of music that I will never forget.

Aiza Seguerra, the name that everyone still remembers even after 25 years, may God Bless her talent and may she continue inspiring people through her songs. Cheers to the next 25 years :-)

Gloc-9 one of this generations man of rap releases his first album under Universal Records entitled MKNM Mga Kwento ng Makata. The album is filled with songs which everyone can actually relate to.

Sirena is the carrier single and has been playing in radio stations because for me it has the biggest impact in our society nowadays. The song Sirena pertains to a gay guy who, from his younger years have been beaten up by his dad because he is not acting the way a real man should. And because he was gay, people make fun of him and considered him as a big joke, but then in the end he was the one left to take care of his family and took the responsibility of being the man of the house.

This song truly captured my heart since I have so many gay friends whom I personally know, how well they love their family and will do everything for them. Sirena is a reality song in our society today, some may be isulting the gay community but who would have known that most of them are just like all of us working to survive in this world we live in.

All tracks on this album is superb so go grab your copy now, it's worth your penny and remember no to piracy

Ever wondered how tragic it is to be in a situation wherein you were kidnapped and helpless. Thinking about your family back home and how to be able to escape just to be with them? Your family thought that you were dead and they start to move on and after a few months you were identified to be alive.

This is where everything starts for this film shot mainly in the beautiful place of Bohol, refreshing since we haven't seen Mr. Cesar Montano in a while, partnered with a very versatile actress Ms. Angel Aquino and includes the beautiful Mercedes Cabral. The film tacles maybe a simple story of family, career and love yet it is strong in character. Anything that happens to anyone within a family can affect everyone so I guess that is why the called it "Biktima"

The movie known to be shot in limited time only, delivered its message well, the story is about family and captures all the emotions in one, drama-comedy-suspense. Will definitely make you teary eyed, laugh and be shocked.

Directed by RD Alba and is currently showing Nationwide.

Another Star Cinema offering "The Mistress" tackles a sensitive issue that is really happening in our society. John Lloyd Cruz and Bea Alonzo stars in this very challenging roles, admittedly JLC said he had a hard time contemplating on his role because in real life his character is way far than who he really is. As per Bea, she was nervous but at the same time took this as a challeng and now proud that she made it.

This is also a movie to celebrate the 10 years of the JLC-Bea love team, imagine that, what do they really have that whatever movie they did together was a hit? They answered because they are much more comfortable with each other and the communication is so good. Maturity is a plus now since the friendship has fully grown.

The Mistress is now showing nationwide and people are raving about it. Truly another box office hit for Star Cinema. Congratulations!

We were invited to witness, experience and meet the X-Factor Finalists. It was one big opportunity that I wouldn't want to miss.

PAGCOR is the venue for the both the Live Performance Night that's held during Saturdays and Results Night on Sundays for the whole season. It is the perfect place for its comfortable seats, huge stage and good airconditioning. I was in awe when we were given the privilege to actually walk the stage and check out the Judges' seats, yes we sat down and took pictures. The stage gave me the hype, it feels differrent when you're up there with all the cameras, the people, and the lights, it was really a wow!

We met some people behind the show, they were very warm and accomodating, sharing stories about the show, how it is done, and the emotional effect on them especially during results night. And of course we wouldn't miss the part of meeting the contestants in their holding room where everything is prepared from hair and make-up, their clothes and where they rest before the live performance. I must say, you will really feel their closeness and friendship despite the competition. Sharing their support for each other, how they hate Sundays now since it is the judgement night, knowing somebody would go home after. These kids are tough, facing a new life everyday, the pressure and stress the competition gives them and of course for those who are not from the city longs for their families. But they have to do it, be strong for their dreams. I salute them.

Live Performance was the best, the crowd was awesome shouting and clapping for their favorites. I personally would love to watch them live every Saturday, the music is much different, you really feel everything and makes me think they all deserve to win. It must be super hard for the Judges.

Sunday is Results Night this affected me so much, emotions were overwhelming, and this time the energy of the fans doubled. Roaring with their banners of who they support it was a blast and they are obviously solid supporters but doesn't disrespect other people who supports other candidates. That to me is a good sign that we can actually have a healthy competition.

The announcement was the most heartbreaking of all, somebody has to go home, people have different opinions especially on social media sites but then again they based the results on the voting power of the people. At the end of the day, this is still a competion and there could only be one winner. But for me, the important thing is the friendship that they built, the X-Factor family that they learned to love and the experience it gave them to do much better. It will not end here, opportunities will be everywhere, it is up for them to grab it.

This was also a great experience for me, for someone who dreams of working in this kind of environment, yes it looks easy on TV but behind the camera is all hard work and for sure after every successful show comes the feeling of relief that the team made it! X-Factor Team Congratulations in advance a Job Well Done. :-)
